THRIFT TREKS IN KAMLOOPS

The Community

Thrifting is not only an affordable and environmentally friendly way to shop, but it also helps cut waste by repurposing pre-owned goods. The community of non-profit thrifters, such as The Mustard Seed thrift store, Kamloops United Church Thrift Shop and Royal Inland thrift store. is a vital force in advancing affordability, sustainability, and community support. People from all walks of life can purchase a variety of gently used goods from these thrift stores at reasonable costs, including furniture, household goods, and clothing. Serving the community is the main objective of non-profit thrift stores, not making money.

They frequently rely on community members to donate gently used goods.
After sorting and pricing, these goods are put up for public sale. Usually, the money made from sales is put back into running the store or goes toward helping out with charitable causes. Not only the tourist but the residents of Kamloops start exploring the hidden treasures in their own community. They have simple motive of giving back to their community and creating an inclusive atmosphere for the tourists.
