THE COMMUNITY
Embracing Local Flavor
Palate Passport Adventures is dedicated to showcasing the vibrant food scene in our charming community.
We will primarily be representing the local community of food producers, restaurants, and culinary artisans in the downtown Kamloops area. Our goal is to showcase the diverse and delicious food offerings available in the region while promoting culinary tourism and supporting local businesses and sustainable food practices.

THE OPPORTUNITY
For Both Tourist and Locals
Kamloops is endowed with a variety of cuisines that are found all over the world.
For tourists, the food trail offers an authentic and immersive experience, allowing them to discover the culinary delights of Kamloops.
For community members, it will serve as a platform to celebrate and promote local businesses, fostering a sense of pride and community among residents and for business owners, it will provide restaurants with increased visibility, foot traffic, and revenue opportunities. It promises to be an exciting opportunity to showcase the culinary diversity of the region while providing economic benefits for businesses and enriching experiences for both tourists and locals.
The Palate Passport presents a unique chance to collaborate with Tourism Kamloops and the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce, ensuring seamless organization and support for this tour. Tourism Kamloops will assist with marketing support by adding our tour on their website( Tours & Itineraries | Tourism Kamloops, BC), connecting with local businesses they already have an alignment with, and maybe some financial support so the ticket price for the tour will be cheaper. The Kamloops Chamber of Commerce can provide guidance and resources to the startup, offering advice on business planning, marketing strategies, and customer engagement techniques along with Advocacy and Policy Support.
Together, we can ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place to deliver an exceptional experience. Additionally, We will partner with Dine Around and they can assist with Cross-Promotion and potential sponsorships. Dine Around already has partnerships with organizations in Kamloops like the BCRFA. They can leverage these partnerships to cross-promote the palate passport trail, encouraging participating restaurants to promote the tour to their customers. These partnerships can also help financially giving these restaurants something so the customers of the tour can get their tickets cheaper.
